Past

Exhibition Supercar

Exhibition Supercar featured some of the most revered and iconic vehicles from the genre.

A 1955 Mercedes 300SL, two-seat coupe with iconic “gullwing” entry, is an early example of a car intended for both racing and transportation; a 1987 Ferrari F40, the, at it’s time, fastest production car available for purchase and road use; and a Pagani Zonda, considered the pinnacle of automotive design and performance.

F355 Celebration

The Ferrari F355 debuted at the Geneva Auto Show in 1994. It was considered to some the most elegant design to come from the Pininfarina styling house, and was the last with a Dino-style flying buttress rear window.

The F355 (or simply 355) appeared just as analog technologies evolved into the fluid lines of today's digital sports cars. For those fortunate to experience one, the 355 represents a soulful, audible and analog extension of self.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of its debut, we hosted the F355 Celebration.

E30 Fazination

E30 Faszination celebrated the second generation of BMW 3 Series, the E30, of 1982-1994. The E30 generation brought BMW's premier performance brand within the reach of the many, blazing a pathway which all later models followed.

With a range of powerful engines, a wide variety of body styles and a suspension which allowed for playful handling, the E30 quickly became all things to all people. Fascination starts with the BMW E30. Its purposeful three box design has carried through subsequent generations shaping the brand’s unmistakable identity. A cult classic, we hoped to capture all of the uniqueness of each owner and their vehicle with this gathering.

Testarossa Retrospective

Taking place at our “Treehouse”, the retrospective paid tribute to the Ferrari Testarossa of 1984-1996 as we explored the history and design of one of Enzo Ferrari’s most successful commercial vehicles. Because of the Testarossa’s sculptural quality, functionality, stylistic solutions, and impact on design and brand legacy, it suits the criteria for retrospective attention.

The exhibition featured an assortment of vehicles, an additional Testarossa engine, components, optional luggage by Schedoni, photo panels of the vehicle’s design and origins, along with a Ferrari 365 Boxer, the model that preceded the Testarossa. Many of the objects had been lent to 1600Veloce and we thank those who made that possible.
